Sami-K is a widely recognized worship leader, recording artist, song writer, and producer in Uganda, East Africa.He has been in full time worship and music ministry since 1999. He also leads worship regularly at Worship Harvest Church Naalya a suburb of Kampala. Sami-K founded Journey Man ProjeKT a team Comprised of world class musicians and artistes who are all ministers in their respective churches. They travel extensively with a message and Musical genres that crosses cultural, generational, and denominational boundaries. Known specifically for diverse and infectious rhythms effectively captured on all 4 of his albums, Rhythm & Praise(2005),Journey Man (2007), Unconditional/Full Hundred (2010) and Words Of A Minista (2013),all released on First Love Records and his own Journey Man Records Labels. Once a member of the Gospel Quintet “Sauti” That later gave birth to artistes Like Exodus UG, Sami was also a part of the globe trotting Watoto Children's Choir where he toured all over the United states, Canada and the U.K and worked with their recording studio. Sami has also shared stages with some of the worlds acclaimed gospel greats like Papa San (who he holds in high esteem as one of his mentors),Babbie Mason, CeCe Winans, Donnie McClurkin, Kirk Franklin, Richard Smallwood, Allen & Allen, Deitrick Haddon ,Javen, Sherwin Gardner to mention but a few Sami-K is known for being a mentor to some of the leading artistes like Mac Elvis(RIP),Levixone, Robin San, Muro and Daisy Ejang ,Zabuli,Lyrical Mykk and a father to the urban gospel music industry in Uganda with a blazing energy that has made him among the most influential tastemakers in his field. As a singer, composer, producer and worship leader, he has created a canon of songs that have become standards i Over the past decade he has released albums that are versatile in genre defying categorization with an ease that other artists envy.
